Blizzard Bash in Boston!

Have you heard? Word on the street is Boston’s about to host one of the most excited food events of the year…

The Barbara Lynch Gruppo, one of Boston’s most influential restaurant groups, founded and led by Chef Barbara Lynch, has quietly been pulling together the people, places and ideas for a mind boggling event to celebrate American cuisine and to benefit their foundation, meet the worms! On February 7th-8th, the first annual Blizzard Bash will be held.

Look familiar? Probably because these little guys have been popping up all around town. Most of the important information can be found on this handy postcard. The whole thing will be kicked off with a Relais & Chateaux Grand Chef Gala dinner on the evening of the 7th at Menton. This high rollers dinner will include five courses, each prepared by a different Grand Chef.

On the 8th, the actual Blizzard Bash will be held at the Children’s Museum of Boston at Fort Point. VIP cocktail reception begins at 6:30 (here is where you can gain serious celebrity cred with the likes of Chef Barbara and special guest Daniel Boulud), the event opens to all ticket holders at 7:30. You will be welcomed into a wonderful world of over 30 spectacular chefs and their prepared dishes as well as leading bartenders mixing their craft.

For those who want tokeep the bash bashing, the night will proceed to Villa Victoria in the South End for The Industry Thing. Barbecue, cocktails and live music will be going added to the round out the night…and who knows what time this will go to?
